I recently spoke to a Youth Leadership Group, and I was deeply inspired listening to the dreams that the teenagers had for the future. While I was presenting, I felt the group of teenagers begin to realize that it is ok to dream and be proud of what you have done in your life and where you want to go in life.

By the age 25, most people lose all of their dreams and fall into a rut. From the age 25-65, people generally go back and forth to work and say to themselves,\” I wish…if only I could have…if only I knew then what I know now,\” and numerous other lamentations as to why they do not feel fulfilled in life. The key in life to feeling fulfilled is to simply listen to your inner spirit and make your daily work in life something that you love to do and will help you achieve your DREAMS! As adults, we need to realize that the power of a dream will enable you to achieve whatever your ultimate \”WHY\” in life is.

As a professional speaker and business coach, my ultimate outcome is to empower people to find their WHY in life — to catapult them to attain their dreams in life. I also spoke to the group about how important it is to be around a mastermind team, which will push you on and let you know it is awesome you have a dream. The key word in that sentence is DREAMS! Too many people when asked, \”Where do you see yourself 2-5 years from now\” give the answer, \”Just let me make it to this weekend.\” The underlying reason that they don\’t know where they are going to be is because they have no dreams. But part time jobs really help you to learn the steps ahead earlier. They can be good for your resume too. Here are some tips to help you find the middle point between study and part time work.

1. Plan your time well. There should be no conflict between study and work. Once you know your class schedule, you can make arrangement about the work shifts and study schedules. It is not easy to be discipline with time, but that is the important thing you learn when taking part time jobs. Set the time, and try your best to finish all on schedule. Of course it does not need to be that strict. Some people do better with \”spontaneous\” scheduling, some can not. The point is to fulfill all your responsibilities. Make evaluation. When every college task is finished on time, when your grade does not go worse, and when you still get praises at the work place, then it means you are doing all right.

2. Be efficient and flexible. Part time jobs can take from 18 to over 30 hours per week. You lose that much for study and fun time. There is no way to keep the days run the same. What is possible is to learn to be efficient and flexible. You need to understand about the \’sacrifices\’ you have committed to. It is not necessarily so, but it is really about better time management.

By being efficient, you can think of bringing your text book or small notes during commuting and read them while waiting, or focusing on one work at a time so that it finishes right at the time and you can move on to the next task. If you know the schedule is strict, then get prepared for the day. By being flexible, you can think of doing what you like and need to do in unplanned but still controllable manners. You have to let go some things, for sure. But they can be offset pretty well if you love what you do and try to be flexible. Part time is not killing you.

3. Keep your body fit. Eat good food, do enough exercise, and take enough sleep at night. Now it starts to sound like health tips. But this is just the general rules of long term health we all need to know. What is worrying is that students often forget this, especially when they live out of the home. Make sure you maintain enough nutrients intake and exercise routinely. They will keep you fit all day long to do the tasks. Take enough sleep so that you can concentrate and feel energetic until the end of the day. Avoid junk foods, alcohols, other junk drinks like soda, and greasy foods. Take enough vegetables and fruits. They will cost you cheaper too in long term.

Nuans Name Search Reports

A Nuans name search report is a seven-page report which is generated from the Nuans name search system. The report compares a proposed name or trade-mark with the database of existing names that have been registered anywhere across Canada.

The Nuans name search system maintains a database of all of the names registered in Canada including trade-marks, sole proprietorships, business names, partnerships, non-share and regular share companies. The system is mandated to keep track of all names registered provincially and territorial in Canada.

When you are in receipt of a Nuans name search report for a proposed name you have suggested, you will be able to compare all the names on the 7 page report with your proposed name to ensure your name is distinct and different than others registered.

Nuans name search reports must accompany articles of incorporation when incorporating a company in the federal, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Yukon jurisdictions of Canada.

Name search reports are required by all provinces and territories including the federal jurisdiction, when incorporating companies in Canada. However the Nuans is only accepted in six jurisdictions. It is still advisable to do a preliminary name search through the Nuans system because it keeps a listing of all names registered throughout Canada.

In Canada certain jurisdictions only will review a Nuans prior to registering a company and they are shown below:

The Nuans name search system is updated regularly with all registrations of incorporations, business names, partnership names and sole proprietorship names in those Canadian jurisdictions where the Nuans report is not accepted.

You cannot incorporate a company with a name that is exactly the same as another name already registered. When you go to incorporate a company in Canada the government must first know if that name has been taken.

The Nuans name search report is also your way of determining whether there are additional conflicts to your name. The onus will be on you to look over the entire report and make sure you are not proposing to use a name that is even close to another corporate name or trade-mark since the owner of the name could still have a claim against you if your name is too similar and his or her company name has had a large presence in the marketplace for many years.

Each jurisdiction that accepts the Nuans Name search report will have its own Nuans report. For instance, if you are incorporating an Ontario company you will be required to obtain an Ontario Nuans Name Search report. If you are incorporating a federal company you will be required to obtain a federal Nuans name search report. Despite the fact that each of these reports is different, all reports will search the Nuans database system for similar names across Canada.

If you are registering a partnership, sole proprietorship or business name in Alberta and Ontario, and maybe in some other provinces, you will not be required to provide a Nuans name search report and can register a name exactly as any other name registered.

A preliminary name search would be advisable in cases where a full Nuans is not required to guard against registering a name exactly the same. This is because it is a very bad idea to register a name exactly the same as another name already registered.

You would need to contact a search house in order to have a preliminary name search performed. It does not matter what the jurisdiction is where you live, since the search house can send you the report by email.
