Mumbai is a city which is famous for the diversity of language, religion and culture. Initially consisting of seven islands were merged into a single land mass this year, the 1845th.
It is a widely known fact that it was in the possession of the Portuguese in the 1600′s. On 11 May 1661, the marriage treaty of Charles II of England and Catherine of Braganza, daughter of King John IV of Portugal, placed the islands in possession of the British Empire.
Bombay grew into a major trading town in the 18th century while it was in the possession of the East India Company. People from all over the country migrated to the coastal city for trade purposes. After attaining independence from the British in 1945, Bombay continued to grow as a metropolis. It is now the largest and most populated city in Indian as well as the second most populated city in the world. And the population increases exponentially every day.
Every day more and more migrate to Mumbai from small towns across India. Most migrate in search of work and a better life. Mumbai is the financial and commercial capital of the country there are a number of industries have their factories in the city. Most of these plants are largely responsible for the growth of pollution.
The Public transport system in the city is rumored to be one of the best in the world. Mumbai has an extensive railway network that makes travel convenient from all parts of the city. Public buses run by BEST cover almost all parts of the metropolis, as well as parts of Navi Mumbai, Mira-Bhayandar and Thane. These buses ferry an average of 4.5 million passengers every day.
There are also taxis and rickshaws that are available to commuters. In addition to all of these modes of transport, a large number of people also own their own vehicles. These days there are more new cars being bought every day, all of which add to the ever increasing traffic problems. The government has made many efforts to solve the traffic problems that plague Mumbai. But with each solution come more and more problems.
The Metro construction in most parts of the city is responsible for a lot of air and noise pollution as well as a number of traffic problems.

What do you think of when you hear the words virtual reality? Do visions of crudely rendered pterodactyls haunt you? Do you think of Neo and Morpheus traipsing about the Matrix? Do you imagine someone wearing a clunky helmet attached to a computer with a thick cable? Or Do you wince at the term, wishing it would just go away?
If the last applies to you, you’re likely a engineer or computer scientist, many of whom now avoid the words virtual reality (VR) even while they work on technologies most of us associate with Virtual Reality. Today, you’re more likely to hear someone use the words virtual environment (VE) to refer to what the public knows as VR.
Virtual reality (VR) is a technology which allows a user to interact with a computer-simulated environment, be it a real or imagined one. Most current virtual reality environments are primarily visual experiences, displayed either on a computer screen or through special stereoscopic displays, but some simulations include additional sensory information, such as sound through speakers or headphones.
Some advanced, tactile information is include haptic systems, generally known as force feedback, in gaming applications and medical. Users can interact with a virtual environment or a virtual artifact either through the use of standard input devices such as a keyboard and mouse, or through multimodal devices such as a wired glove, the Polhemus boom arm, and/or omnidirectional treadmill.
Virtual worlds are intended for its users to inhabit and interact, and the term today has become largely synonymous with interactive 3D virtual environments, where the users take the form of avatars visible to others graphically. These avatars are usually depicted as textual, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional graphical representations, although other forms are possible. Some, but not all, virtual worlds allow for multiple users.

Online Contests – Purpose And Benefits

From time in memorial, contests have been giving people heaps of excitement and interaction. Contests are done so a company can get feedback; through this the company can know their presence in the market. For instance, the Samsonite Company put up contests on Face book and got many winners. These winners got to meet ‘Josh’ and were also given T-shirts. They asked these winners to spread the joy about this contest, thus getting more people interested in the contest and creating buzz about the company and the contest.
Similarly, many companies’ come up with the contests and get feedback on how popular they are in market. Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, etc have many benefits and one of them is A Research tool. For example if someone wants to know the trending topic of the day they can find it on twitter.
Reinforcing and Expanding the personal Brand is another benefit of these sites. Be it social networking, blogging, bookmarking, real life interactions etc – all these ‘straws’ when added together, can go a long way to build a brand. Twitter is another such ‘straw’ in personal branding of a product.
Promotion of the brand helps people to recollect its presences in the market. It finds audiences for the brand through their comments, tweets and reviews on the blogs. Networking is another obvious benefit of Twitter, as it creates network on with bloggers, readers and many more. The good thing about this is, it gives a sense of what people are really thinking on a topic. This helps to know brands on a new level, but also helps in keeping tab on the needs and requirements of potential readers.
This helps product manufacturers shape up their marketing strategies by using mainstream consumer marketing campaigns. In this competition Gojiyo is not far behind, they came up with contests like FIFA Fever in which contestants had to use the word #WakaWaka in their tweet. Contestants tweeting very often will get FIFA merchandise and also the music cd’s of Shakira. After the huge success of Waka Waka contest, they came up with “I Hate Luv Storys” movie contest. Gojiyo is coming up with many such interesting contests for which people are eagerly waiting.
Although these may seem mere contests and challenges in reality they reap huge benefits to the company. These contests engage members into the brand. They also make it popular among peers who are not in the purview of target audiences. Thus building a good brand image and crossing the boundaries of age, hobby and fun.
The place where the virtual world meets the real world, where nothing can hold you back, GoJiyo is one such a place. Let your virtual world avatar take over at GoJiyo and leave your real self far behind.
Dominate Restaurant City By Creating Level 10 Dishes So You Can Earn Tons of Coins and Experience Points

Restaurant City has been taking Facebook by storm. In a wave of games like Mafia Wars, FarmVille, and now even Sorority Life, Restaurant City has been a stand out in the restaurant type of social networking game. What keeps players coming back is the desire to create the best restaurant filled with customers that produces profit. In order to get to this point, one of the most important tasks of your Restaurant City strategy should be to focus on creating level 10 dishes. This article will explain how you can start doing that.
If you’re relatively new to Restaurant City, you’re probably wondering why it’s important to create level 10 dishes. As you probably know, there are a few different sets of points that affect the way you play the game. For example, there are experience points and popularity points. Creating level 10 dishes increases each of these and thus helps you level up quickly. Also, creating high level dishes increases the amount of coins you earn for each dish. The benefits of this strategy are many for sure!
Don’t make the process of creating level 10 dishes too complicated though. All you really need to think about is having one level 10 dish in each course. Your customers will still be happy with the results. This means you don’t need to worry about having 200+ ingredients to help make the level 10 dishes. You still should interact with your friends hoping to get gifts in the form of new menu items.
A word of advice if you’re trying to find ingredients – don’t spend your money on Playfish cash. Your best asset when playing Restaurant City is your time and a little bit of strategy to find the ingredients that will help you he most. The best advice I can give you is to be really careful about the dishes you pick. The ingredients they contain should be your guiding force when trying to create a level 10 dish.
If you pick a dish that uses cheese, cream, or sugar, you’re going to face an uphill battle. So many dishes need these ingredients that you’ll be limited as to what you can accomplish due to supply and demand. This makes sense when you think about it. There is only a certain amount of ingredients to be spread around Restaurant City. If other people need the same ingredients you do, you’re all going to be competing and hurting each other from reaching level 10.
The final step in the leveling up process of your dishes involves carefully analyzing the different menu options available to you and asking yourself how in demand the ingredients might be. Once you choose ingredients that aren’t as popular that relate to dishes you can make, you’ll be in the right zone to creating a level 10 dish. Get to this point and you can spend your time on the layout of your restaurant to make sure your customers can enjoy the food you’ve created.
