Most of us are TV fanatics that if we have free time, we’ll find ourselves in front of the television. And I’m one of those so called “TV addicts”. I’m very interested in all the software and hardware that appear in the market that offer great access to more channels. I search the Internet. I was amazed that many people are also searching on how to enjoy their TV watching to the highest level.
While browsing Net, there are various topics about having TV on your PC and watching TV online. Are these not interesting topics to read about? Actually, these are pretty much interesting topics. Why? Well, you don’t need to call companies that offer cable or satellite TV to have a wide range of channels. Such topics are helpful for it give you more information on how you can stream video from PC to TV. While learning the information related to such topic, all you need is a PCTV tuner and fast internet connection.
Suddenly, it crosses my mind that I want to watch those videos not on my PC but on our TV. So how I’m going to do it? I search on “streaming videos from PC to TV”. My first impression is that it will not be as easy as I thought it would be. I continue researching more, reading forums and such. Also, another option is the U-Broadcast. I searched for it and found that it is a product of Uticasoft. It is a webcam viewer, TV tuner viewer, video capturer and live- stream server.
There are many choices that came my way. And it’s really hard to decide. I also read the comments of other people about certain software or hardware to be able to stream videos in the most convenient way. Some successfully got what they want but then a flaw will be encountered. Then they will try other ways to stream videos. It consumes time and effort and money as well but it’s worth it in the end.
As I continue my search, I’ll find more methods, specific ones that I can share with other TV addicts out there. I will ask for other people’s advices on this matter. I will continue reading forums and blogs that will help me to have what I want.
It’s not only the thought of me able to stream videos but knowing how it’s done and me able to share it, gives others the chance to also enjoy the benefits of video streaming. Some people don’t have enough time like me to search the internet just to get information.
So I’ll pick one and I will try it. If it works, I will tell you as soon as possible. If I failed, I will still write about it but ask other people what maybe went wrong. Then I will try another one. I know that companies are dealing with this demand intensely so I’m not alone. Maybe tomorrow or the next day, video streaming will be as easy as no one as of this moment expect it to be. Then, my first impression will not last anymore.

Work of the movie camera operator

Having a creative edge and knowing how to set up lights so that they create a specific mood is only a small part of a cameraman’s work. A lot of cameramen are proud of their work, especially if they’ve joined the union. With a good editor, the end result of your work can look even better before and shock your audience.
To see your audience has been affected the way you wanted them is a treat as a cameraman. When the audience feels how you want them to after watching your movie, a sense of accomplishment arises within. The blood, sweat and tears that are poured into creating a movie are well worth it when the movie is said and done.
To be a cameraman means that you have to creatively design a picture in the frame-which is incredibly difficult if you think about all the aspects in the shot that have to become unified-lights, props, the whole ambiance of the shot, have to be captured appropriately. To be able to unify all these elements takes a well-trained eye and good, creative vision.
The cameraman takes longer than everyone else in the crew because they have to prep the camera. Even though there are camera assistants, cameras consist of many small, delicate pieces and must be handled with extreme care. Working on set as a cameraman means you go to work early and stay late because of the camera and how long it takes to prep.
It’s always a good idea to thoroughly check every piece of camera equipment you rent to make sure it works the way it’s supposed to. Camera equipment tends to be on the heavy side-especially equipment rented from such large places like Panavision or Arri-so it’s a good idea to stay in shape and lift weights so you can move all the heavy cases of camera equipment as fast and carefully as possible. Working in the crew on set requires that you are able to move quickly without hurting yourself or others on set.
A lot of camera preps can take up to a week, so during that time, the camera crew can get acquainted with all the pieces, where they go and what they do. A cameraman must be in good shape for holding and running around set with heavy pieces of equipment. Considering how the crew moves so quick and how time is of the essence during every production, being able to move heavy equipment quickly and with ease is also mandatory.
Creativity and perseverance are key in this industry. The more creative, outspoken and efficient you are, the more people are going to want to work with you. Knowledge of the cameras you work with is also key, as you should know at least a little bit about all cameras currently in the industry.
In my opinion, freelance camerawork is the most difficult kind of camerawork because it’s like living on the edge. As with any freelance job, you live from job to job, acquiring a sum of money that you’ll have to budget for some time. However, no job is a promise and sometimes you can lose one merely days before you were supposed to start. Getting jobs in the film industry has most to do with meeting other camera people and networking. Making friends is key!

Could A Clean Comedian Turn Out To Be Amusing At All

A good clean comedian, often known as a family-friendly comic, is one that stays away from offensive material along with profanity. A good solid clean comedian is not hard to find, they are simply not as easy to find as more edgy comics. When shopping for corporate event comedy, it is advisable to find an act which is both clean and experienced in front of corporate crowds. You’re paying not only for the actual show, but for satisfaction. After all, when the performer offends your crowd, this makes you look bad.
Many clean comedians have wowed audiences all over America with a high-energy combination of entertaining stand-up comedy along with outrageous impressions. Their 100% clean presentation speaks to all ages and backgrounds. Some comic’s greatest strength is definitely their proficiency to customize their show for each and every crowd. These people work very closely with the actual presenter in order to collect information and then very easily turn the material into a one-of-a-kind interactive performance.
Although the loud, bombastic, and potty-mouth comics seem to obtain the most publicity, it should also be mentioned that clean comedians are also finding popularity in the world of entertainment. Their core audience has traditionally been in company excursions and conventions. However, these days we can easily come across these non-vulgar talents more and more prevalent in “well-known” areas such as Television and nightclubs. And of course they continue to do well within small, conventional markets just like class reunions, church groups, etc. In fact, this trend toward the mainstream has been somewhat forced by the economic problems running rampant in the business world. Many top-flight clean comedy acts have felt the crunch of corporate cutbacks in spending for non-essential employee benefits. Hiring a comic, for example, to provide a motivational talk at a conference seems to be categorized as non-essential by executives. It’s refreshing to see these comedians locate new outlets for their talents.
You need an act with wide appeal that will not offend anyone in the audience. There are thousands of club entertainers across the country, however merely a handful that can do a clean, corporate show. Don’t forget: You are not only spending money on the jokes they tell — you are paying for the antics they don’t tell. Some things are usually funny and some things just aren’t! Have you ever gone to a comedy show and felt ashamed by the base and crude humor that’s spewing from the mouth of the comedian?
A clean comedian normally takes everyday scenarios that we are all accustomed to, and applies that simple clean humorous perspective to them, showing us it is fun to actually have a good laugh at ourselves. Sometimes a situation that’s brewing could be defused simply by allowing your sense of humor to shine. A good laugh could mend fences at the same time. We take ourselves entirely too seriously at times. How refreshing it could be in order to reduce the burdens that we face, by attaining some real perspective, and having a moment to simply laugh. Regardless of what is pressing on your mind, or what trials you might be facing, a little bit of laughter seems to take you away and transcend you to another plane of thought, even if it is only for a moment.
A sexy and still very funny female comedian is nearly impossible to find! Everyone will want a clean comedian that could make them laugh and look good at the same time. Purely the greatest LA stand up comedian will do the act!
How To Be A Model Or Actor
September 17, 2010 by Frank Nunez

New to the Entertainment Field?
An actor or model is going to have enough to worry about without having to worry about a scam perpetrated by some dishonest agency. A lot of hard work and talent can go nowhere fast if you place your faith in the wrong people. So the trick is to be cautious and be smart and look out for a few clues.
A good, fully licensed agency, one that has been around for a while, is looking to work with you. They want to help you with those necessary first steps, like getting your model composites made. This’ll cost money, but it’s important to get them done so the agency can begin finding jobs for you. The agency should also have a client list with names you know, not fly-by-night spots that won’t be around any longer than the shifty agency.
Your Work Ethic
In addition to confidence and charisma, the aspiring talent must develop a pretty rigorous work ethic to deal with the demands of the industry. You’re going to want to work harder than anyone around you, since after all, you yourself are the product. Everyone’s going to want to see that you’re driven.
Now comes the part where you start thinking about what kind of work you want to do. It’s not a decision set in stone, of course, but it’ll help you make some future decisions, and give the agency an idea of how best to serve you. Do you want to try your hand at hand modeling? Or run down the runway? Lend your voice to radio? Or try your hand at acting for television and film?
The Model Look
And hey, listen, keep this in mind if you’re feeling like maybe you don’t have that “model look” — talent agencies always want everyday people, people of all ages, regardless of experience, to send to casting directors for all kinds of jobs. You don’t have to be some exotic breed to be successful. Often, you’ll do well if you look like the rest of us.
Still with me? Good. I don’t mean to scare you; just giving you an idea of how to get this ball rolling. It’s not going to be bad if you’re willing to work, and work hard, for this crazy thing you call a dream. Once you find the right agency, they’ll take care of the rest, from model composites on up to that first audition. After that, once the lights point your way, it’s all up to you.

Booking Comedian: Is It Advisable To Seek The Assistance Of A Comedy Booking Organization?
September 11, 2010 by Erin Garcia

Booking Comedian would mean to tediously lookup for the best performer that may satisfy your corporation’s function. Yet if you are really looking to make an impact with your team, you may want to provide some thought to getting a corporate comedian. Why would you wish to hire a comedian on your function? Over time, these particularly skilled inventive entertainers have come up with a wide range of great techniques to serve up the laughs while motivating and uplifting your team in ways that you could have never thought.
How can a comedy booking company help you with your event planning? These companies will assure you that the greatest form of entertainment you would want to have for your event will be given without you feeling stressed with wanting to fit every step of the process in your schedule. There’s no need for you to seek out comedians in yellow pages and in the net, speak to each of them, research about each comedian in your list, choosing from all of them, etc. With the aid of a comedy booking agency, you will simply have to tell the important points and any pertinent information about your event, and what you need to have as your entertainers, or one that is known to perform diverse acts aside from cracking jokes.
Essentially, an agent from the company should know what you would like and it will be his or her responsibility to look, and you in return, should listen to their suggestions and ideas. That relationship is the key to making sure that you get a performer who will keep your crowd involved, having a laugh and enjoying the entire time. The most famous corporate entertainers book up very quickly for preferred dates. During the corporate holiday party season (Nov-Jan), entertainers may start to book up more than a year ahead of time. Avoid frustration and start searching for entertainment once you know the date of the corporate function.
Whenever you attend an affair, let us say, business meetings, conventions, seminars, or even religious functions, can you notice everything getting so serious and you like to have that type of entertainment that will break the ice and yet go with the flow of the event? Or, are you one of the individuals designated to prepare this kind of events? Have you considered letting your audience and participants experience the event with fun and enjoyment? If yes, then seeking services of a comedy booking agency is an extremely great option.
Booking comedian can be a job not everybody can handle; be sure you solicit the help of a booking agency to ensure the success of your event. The best corporate comedians don’t just stand up and make jokes; they have worked long and hard to figure out ways to incorporate important themes and messages into their routines that hopefully will enhance your team’s spirits, creativity and productiveness. Long story short, if you would like someone to teach, impress and amuse your team at the next big event, look into getting a professional corporate comedian.
A sexy yet still very funny female comedian is hard to find! Absolutely everyone will be booking comedian that will make them laugh and also look wonderful as well. Simply the finest LA stand up comedian can do the act!
Iron Chef: Japan’s Culinary Sensation Takes America By Storm
September 10, 2010 by Ross Everett
‘Iron Chef’ is a crazy Japanese import cooking game show that features accomplished chefs from around the world going head to head in a competition format that’s part Julia Child, part pro wrestling. Even non-foodies are drawn to the show for its sheer entertainment value.
The story behind the show goes something like this–there’s this rich dude, MC Kaga who summons the finest chefs in Japan to do battle in his kitchen stadium. Needless to say, a TV studio wouldn’t suffice for such a production: the kitchen stadium is in Kaga’s castle. Also in residence are three Iron Chefs, each representing a different type of cuisine (Chinese, French and Japanese). The summoned culinary challenger picks which Iron Chef he wants to take a crack at and the contest begins. The show was originally created by the Fuji TV network in the Japan, and the original Japanese title translates literally to The Iron Men of Cooking.
The chefs just don’t pull out the best dishes from their repertoire–that would be too predictable. There’s a catch to the contest, and thats the fact that every dish must contain the theme ingredient which is kept a mystery until immediately before the contest begins. At that time, Kaga brings forth a heaping helping of whatever the current mystery ingredient is in a production of smoke and pyrotechnics. Sometimes the ingredient is something basic like tofu or apples, but it can also be something obscure like ox tail or some obscure shellfish.
At that point, the chefs have an hour to prepare a seven course meal, served to a discerning panel of B-List celebrities that usually include a couple of ‘TV Presenters’ and a ‘fortune teller’. The judges rate and discuss each course and declare a winner.
What really brings the show together is the announcin–”though I’m sure it loses something having been dubbed from Japanese. There’s a hysterical play by play announcer, an excitable color commentator, and an even more hyperactive sideline correspondent who will break in the commentary frequently with revelations such as observing that a chef is using fresh ginger in a dish or some similar piece of trivia. Apparently one of the announcers is a legit sumo wrestling announcer in Japan, making the strange juxtaposition between cooking shows and wrestling even more complete.
The dishes that the chefs come up with are always pretty amazing, creative and complex–if not always appetizing. Some of their creations look yummy, but a dessert with a compulsory use of carp isnt exactly my cup of green tea. Nonetheless, the creative process and intensity of the competitors is amazing. Even as challenging as this is, the requirement that a theme ingredient be used in every component of the meal really ups the ante.
The Food Network now produces an American-ized version of the show entitled Iron Chef America. Despite the similar format, it pales in comparison to the original Fuji TV production.
